I am currently in my third and final year of training to be an Emergency Medicine Physician.  This means that I will be an Emergency Medicine Specialist.  Just as there are other medical specialties, mine is the emergent care of the critically ill or injured patient.  I will work in the Emergency Department for my entire career.  This is the area of medicine in which I have chosen to practice.
