The above photos are of some of my oldest and dearest friends. On the left is Ralph and Lee Ann Gerdes. Ralph is one of the most genuine people I know. He calls em like he see's em. One the right is Jim and Holly Danneman. They now have twins, Andrew and Maria. Julie and I hope that we are able to move back home very soon, so that our children can grow up with the Danneman's kids the way that Jimmy and I grew up together. Ralph and Jimmy were both groomsmen in our wedding and even though we don't get to see these guys very often, they're always close to our hearts.

On the left are Steve Heilman and Tiffany Rieser. They were married in September of this year. Congratulations. They are both completing Emergency Medicine Residencies in New York City. The picture on the right shows a larger group of us, including Chris Coffey in the back on the right. Chris is doing a surgical residency in Lansing Michigan. Fortunately Chris is close enough that I have been able to visit with him several times over the past couple years.

The above photos show some of my friends from the Emergency Medicine Residency as Saint Vincent Mercy Medical Center here in Toledo. All are physicians who are in their final year of Emergency Medicine training. These photos are from a ski trip that we took at the Boyne Highlands in northern Michigan two years ago.
