Muskegon Michigan
On November 28th and 29th I went fishing with some of my friends from St. V's.  We were in Western Michigan fishing the Muskegon River for Steelhead.  These fish are some of the strongest freshwater fish in North America and we had a great trip.  The motley crue included Brian Skow, Brent Bunz, Chris Bosche and myself.  Everyone caught fish each day and everyone caught some good-sized fish.  That's enough fish stories, here's the proof!!!

Day One

We were on the water before the sun came up.

Skow caught his first fish after we were only on the water for 15 minutes.  That fish is an 11lb Steelhead.

I got in on the action about an hour later with this 10lb Steelhead.

This was the highlight of my trip.  This 13 pound Steelhead took 13-15 minutes to land and was an absolute blast.  This was a beautiful fish and as aggressive as anything I've ever caught.

Day Two

Here's the entire crew at lunch on the second day.  Skow caught both of these fish the second morning.

These were Steelhead we caught the afternoon of the second day.  Both of these fish were about 11 pounds.

Brent and Chris also had a tremendous amount of success.  Pictures of their conquests will be posted when they provide the photos.

A good time was had by all and we hope this isn't our last trip to wrestle with the Steelhead of the Muskegon!!
